COMX has now finished! Thanks to everyone who took part.

June 4

11am - 1pm

...get ready for...

The COMX exhibition celebrates the work of over 100 students from our Creative Computing courses at the University of Gloucestershire. This allows our student developers a chance to gain recognition for their creative/innovative work in game and application development.

The exhibition attracts an established audience and is FREE to attend, register here – you are guaranteed to gain a new insight into modern ideas! Want to know more then email us at: comx@glos.ac.uk

COMX has allowed us to find graduates we now have hired full-time onto our team. It truly showcases the talent of these graduates and I enjoy seeing all the different ideas and concepts the students present in a professional environment.

Since I mooted the idea of a Creative Computing student exhibition of team projects in 2004, the students and staff have gone from slightly dubious compliance to enthusiastic collaboration! COMX has become a unique expression of the creative, technical and cooperative talents of University of Gloucestershire students and is a must for any forward thinking employer considering recruitment.

It was great to visit COMX a year after graduating and see all the amazing work that the students had produced.

I attended COMX last summer and despite not usually being into gaming, I couldn’t have enjoyed the event more! It was very well organised and I was incredibly impressed with the games I played and the students’ work in general. The commitment put into making some of the games was admirable and the day’s atmosphere relaxed and fun. I hope next year is just as good as I will definitely be attending.
